The bachelor episode 3

Here we are with another week of Bachelor!  First things first, I love that so many of the girls rock their glasses in the morning.  They’re all so cute so let’s get into the episode shall We it was such a good one . this episode started out with a group date card so let’s get to it shall we

I’m Looking for Life’s Greatest Treasure”

On this date are Katie, Heather, Hannah B, Courtney, Kirpa, Tracy, Demi, and Caelynn

It’s a pirate date!

I found this date rather playful as it was more silly than competitive and didn’t really give us any insight into the women.  After a day of pirate training, Tracy and Caelynn were choses to save Colton in a live pirate show while the other girls watched from the poop deck with a plate of giant turkey legs in front of them.  There isn’t much more to say except, I hope some of them ate the giant turkey legs.

The evening portion of the date is much more interesting as we see Colton connect with several women. We see good, flirty conversations between Katie and Colton, as well as Caelynn and Colton.  Katie and Colton seem to be self dorks with very similar interests.  We get romantic music and some kissing.  I would really like to see these two one-on-one to see how deep their connection goes.

Love is in the air”

Elyse gets the one-on-one date.  I’m happy to see this after their obvious chemistry at last week’s group date.  They start the date with a helicopter ride to San Diego.

They go to an amusement park and share the day with kids from Colton’s charity, which gets sick kids out of the hospital and provides them with fun experiences.  Elyse LOVES the date and particularly loves seeing Colton interact with kids. She is clearly impressed when she says “I don’t care what his age his–I think Colton would be a darn good dad”. I can say seeinag them with the kids was so cute I loved every minute of watching them interact with the kids .

For the evening portion of the date Elyse opens up about loosing her sister to cancer when her sister sacrifices her own life to carry her child to term.  Because of this experience, Elyse also has a charity focused on kids, and I see a mutual respect and admiration rising between these two.

It also struck me that Elyse called Colton an incredible listener.  I am getting the feeling that Colton is turing out to be pretty perceptive in his relationships and does a really good job reading and reacting to the women he’s dating.

After Elyse gets the rose, the two are treated to a private concert with Tenille Arts.

hearing Elyse talk about losing her sister during the conversation I was looking at the tv with tears in my eyes something about it just makes me feel so sad for her I can’t wait to get to know more about her .

For Every Strong Man there is an Even Stronger Woman”

Tayshia, Nina, Catherine, Sydney, Onyeka, Cassie, Nicole, and Caitlin are on group date #2. This date is an athletic date, a role that seems to fit Catherine, Onyeka, and Sydney, but not so much the rest of the women.

Sydney is making stretching look like dirty dancing.  Colton is not a stretching virgin anymore, that’s for sure” – Cassie

During a series of athletic face off’s that include pushing a 100 pound “wedding cake”, flipping a 150 pound “ring”, and pulling a limo with a chest harness, we see the highs and lows of these women’s athletic ability.

Finally, Onyeka comes out on top and is declared the Bachelor’s Strongest Woman!

I thought thIs was a fun and unique date I really enjoyed seeing how strong the women are It was so good to see Colton actually pay Attention and hype the women up .

Pool Party

There is no cocktail party this week, but there will be the standard pool party!

Everyone gets dolled up in bikini’s (and lathers on the sunscreen, good for them!), then Colton immediately disregards the time spent on make up and hair and promptly splashes and dunks almost every single women.

Most of the pool party is focused on the drama between Hannah B and Caelynn, so only about half of the women get to talk to Colton.

We do see Hannah G and Colton’s chat, which was important because Hannah G. didn’t get a date this week.  Colton acknowledges that they have such a good connection that she didn’t need a date this week.  He hasn’t forgotten about her.  Hannah G. is definitely not going anywhere any time soon, but I want to see more of them together! Come on Colton, give her a one-on-one date!

Drama queens

So I’m going to talk about Hannah b and caelynn there drama in the house is so middle schoolish I mean I get that they don’t get along but I honestly think caelynn did not want to go talk to Colton about what was going on in the house I think the producers asked her too to keep the drama going so we can keep watching and boost ratings because the more drama the more ratings they get . She just really didn’t want to talk about it in the First place because the moment he got upset you can tell she regretted it right after then colton goes talk to Hannah b the hold thing with them is just silly .
